Florida DE Carlos Dunlap charged with DUI four days before SEC title gameGAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida’s hopes of repeating as Southeastern Conference and national champions were dealt a major blow Tuesday morning.
Gators junior defensive end Carlos Dunlap, the defensive MVP of last year’s national championship game, was arrested by Gainesville Police officers Tuesday and booked in Alachua County jail on a DUI charge.
He was released at 9:10 a.m. on his own recognizance after his first court appearance. A court date has not been set.
